DEPOSIT

A standard deposit of 10% of the overall purchase price is required. Purchases over $10,000 require a 15% deposit. This is a non-refundable deposit. The deposit is applied to the overall purchase price. The deposit amount will be applied to the overall purchase price when the final payment is made. Final payment is made prior to, or at the time of, delivery or pick-up.

FINAL PAYMENT / BALANCE DUE

Final payment is due and must be made prior to pickup or delivery. Business or personal checks are not acceptable forms of payment if final payment is being made at time of pick-up at the factory or by delivery to a predetermined location.

TYPES OF PAYMENT

Methods of acceptable payment include cashier checks, certified checks, money orders and bank transfers. Payments must be made to “Florida Cargo Trailers” as the payee.

Personal or business checks and bank transfers may be accepted for deposit and final payment. However, full payment from the issuing institution must be verified before delivery/pick-up takes place.

At this time we are not accepting credit or debit cards for payment. An exception is if you choose to pick your trailer up at the manufacturer, however, an additional service charge will be added to the overall cost.

TIME OF COMPLETION

Typical time between scheduling the production of a new trailer and delivery or pick-up is three and a half (3 ½) weeks. All efforts are made expedite the process. Often trailers are ready earlier than this.

Delivery times can be influenced by options and features chosen in the design of the trailer, shortage of materials, etc.

BALL SIZES

Single axle trailers require a hitch with a two (2) inch ball.

Tandem axle trailers require a hitch with a two and five sixteenths (2 5/16) inch ball.

ELECTRICAL PLUGS

Single axle trailers require a 4-way flat pin plug.

Tandem axle trailers require a recreational vehicle 7-way plug. (enables electric brakes)

Shipping and/or delivery charges are not included in our prices. Both can be arranged through a sales person. You may also pick up your Florida Cargo Trailer at the factory. We offer the flexibility of being able to deliver at a predetermined location, such as half-way between the customer and the factory.
